Άρθρο 5

Η παρούσα Συμφωνία τίθεται σε ισχύ την πρώτη ημέρα του επόμενου μήνα από την ημερομηνία λήψης, δια της διπλωματικής οδού, της τελευταίας γραπτής γνωστοποίησης για την ολοκλήρωση από τα Μέρη των αναγκαίων εσωτερικών τους διαδικασιών για τη θέση της σε ισχύ.

Η παρούσα Συμφωνία συνάπτεται για αόριστο χρονικό διάστημα. Κάθε Μέρος δύναται να την καταγγείλει με γραπτή γνωστοποίηση προς το άλλο Μέρος δια της διπλωματικής οδού. Η Συμφωνία παύει να ισχύει τρεις μήνες μετά την ημερομηνία λήψης της γνωστοποίησης αυτής.

Έγινε στην Αθήνα, στις 21.5.2003 σε δύο πρωτότυπα, το καθένα στην ελληνική, ρωσική και αγγλική γλώσσα. Όλα τα κείμενα είναι εξίσου αυθεντικά. Σε περίπτωση διαφωνίας ως προς την ερμηνεία της παρούσας Συμφωνίας, το αγγλικό κείμενο υπερισχύει.

AGREEMENT

On the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Hellenic Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Justice of the Hellenic Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, hereafter called the "Parties";

Seeking to upgrade and expand cooperation between the Hellenic Republic and the Russian Federation in the field of justice and noting the interest of both Parties for the development and strengthening of the contacts between them in the field of justice and law, have agreed as follows:

Article 1

The Parlies, taking their real potential into account, will expand cooperation in the field of justice and law in the following ways:

1) Mutual assistance in the preparation of draft laws and the feasibility studies for such draft laws;

2) Establishment of close links between the judicial authorities of the two countries;

3) Exchange of delegations of the Parties with the purpose of providing better information on the structure and operation of the judicial and other related services of the two countries;

4) Organization and holding of joint seminars, lectures and practical courses on the further improvement of vocational training and education of the employees in the field of justice;

5) Mutual assistance to the educational institutions of the Parties for the preparation and implementation of international legal educational programmes and the organization of educational programmes with the participation of doctors and professors of the two countries;

6) Exchange of experiences in matters of information systems of judicial and other related services;

7) Systematic exchange of current legislation, legal books and publications on legal matters, as well as information concerning the field of justice.

Article 2

The Parties are entitled to conclude other agreements to facilitate the development of their cooperation in the field of justice.

Article 3

The two Parties will determine annually the extent of their cooperation, as well as the related economic and organizational matters.

Article 4

The financing of the events to be organized in application of this agreement will be examined on a case-by-case basis.

Article 5

The present Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the month following the date of receipt, through diplomatic channels, of the last written notification concerning the completion by the Parties of their necessary internal procedures for its entry into force.

The present Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. Either Party may denounce it by written notification to the other Party through diplomatic channels. The Agreement shall cease to be in force three months after the date of receipt of such notification.

Done in Α^Ηξ^οη \y]c^ ,2J ^3 in two originals, each in the Greek, Russian and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of any divergence in the interpretation of the present Agreement, the English text shall prevail.

Η ισχύς του παρόντος νόμου αρχίζει από τη δημοσίευσή του στην Εφημερίδα της Κυβερνήσεως και της Συμφωνίας που κυρώνεται από την πλήρωση των προϋποθέσεων του άρθρου 5 αυτής.

Παραγγέλλομε τη δημοσίευση του παρόντος στην Εφημερίδα της Κυβερνήσεως και την εκτέλεση του ως νόμου του Κράτους.
