Μεταπτυχιακά στη Νομική Σχολή Αθηνών: Οι προκηρύξεις για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2021-2022
Τα Προγράμματα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2021-2022 ανακοίνωσε η Νομική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.
Σύμφωνα με τη σχετική ανακοίνωση του Πανεπιστημίου, τα Προγράμματα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (Π.Μ.Σ.) αποσκοπούν στην εμβάθυνση και την προαγωγή της γνώσης και στην προώθηση της έρευνας, με συνεκτίμηση των αναγκών ανάπτυξης της χώρας, ειδικότερα η εκπόνηση διπλωματικής εργασίας αποβλέπει στην παραγωγή επιστημονικής έρευνας υψηλού επιπέδου και στη δημιουργία επιστημόνων ικανών να συμβάλουν στην πρόοδο της επιστήμης και της διδασκαλίας.
Για την απόκτηση Διπλώματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών απαιτείται αφενός η επιτυχής ολοκλήρωση δύο εξαμήνων υποχρεωτικής φοίτησης ενός κύκλου συστηματικών εξειδικευμένων σπουδών με παράλληλη ερευνητική εργασία, αφετέρου η συγγραφή μεταπτυχιακής διπλωματικής εργασίας.
Τα Π.Μ.Σ. απονέμουν Δίπλωμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (Δ.Μ.Σ.) στις παρακάτω επιμέρους επιστημονικές ειδικεύσεις με τα μαθήματα (υποχρεωτικά και επιλογής) που αναφέρονται στον οικείο σύνδεσμο:

The new LL.M. in International and European Law, taught entirely in English, builds on the very successful LL.M. programme we have created in the Athens Law School in the past ten years. It is an intensive Master’s programme, which provides students with an in-depth understanding of International and European Union Law in both their theoretical and practical aspects.
The Programme covers a single academic year, in the course of which students must successfully complete two semesters of core, mandatory taught modules while conducting research, under the supervision of our Faculty, leading to an original item of written work in the form of a dissertation.
The 2020-2021 programme lectures start on 19 October 2020. We welcome an excellent group of students from Greece and abroad for a difficult yet always exciting new academic year.

10. Π.Μ.Σ. INTERNATIONAL AND EUROPEAN LEGAL STUDIES - ΔΙΕΘΝΕΙΣ ΚΑΙ ΕΥΡΩΠΑΪΚΕΣ ΝΟΜΙΚΕΣ ΣΠΟΥΔΕΣ
The LL.M. Programme in International and European Legal Studies is the first one-year graduate programme taught entirely in English at the Athens Law School. It is an intensive master’s Programme which provides its students with an in-depth understanding and a hands-on knowledge of both European Private Law as well as International and European Law. Our students will benefit from the strong network and various activities of the European Law School and its participating Universities, comprising of the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, King’s College, La Sapienza University in Rome, the University of Amsterdam and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon (https://www.european-law-school.eu/en/universities-of-the-network).
The LL.M. programme consists of two separate LLM Courses:
a) the LLM in Private Law and Business Transactions and
b) the LLM in International and European Law.
In the Private Law and Business Transactions course, students will be offered a wide variety of intensive modules which cover the whole range of modern private transactions, with a particular focus on the developments of EU legislation and case law. It seeks to provide students with a solid doctrinal and practical background which would allow them to successfully cope with the ever-demanding academic and professional environment, while developing their careers at the highest level of national and international practice.
The LLM course International and European Law provides students with a firm theoretical and practical foundation in the fields of Public International Law (PIL) and/or European Union Law (EUL). When more than 3/4 of the chosen subjects belong to either direction, their final degree will have the corresponding specialisation – otherwise, the final degree awarded will be an LL.M. in International & European Law. In addition to their coursework, students may also participate in moot court competitions and law clinics and have the opportunity to engage with the international community from all over the world.
In order to obtain the LL.M. degree, students must successfully complete two semesters and write a dissertation in a field of their choice, under the supervision of our academic staff.
Applications for the academic year 2021-2022 will take place between 19 April 2021 and 4 June 2021.
